Dave Peridore 31, of Paris, Tennessee explained to me as we
sat and discussed
this biography. Dave-O, as his friends cal him, has made many sacrifices for
music.
If you play music professionally, you know what I mean…girlfriends, jobs,
you name
it, Dave-O has sacrificed his life for music. I met Dave-O in Indiana in 1999.
An
error on my part left his last band, Disarray without a show and out in the
bitter
cold. But, that did not detour nor change their minds about hitting the Indiana
scene, like all seasoned musicians, they understood the insanity of the music
world,
they understood sometimes a show gets canceled. Months later Disarray returned
to my
club, excited to play, threw out a great set, and afterwards, Dave-O said to
me,
“Man, we were pretty mad at you, leaving us out in the cold, but we understood,
anyway, we wanted to hit these fan up here. We will do what ever it takes to
play a
show, even sleep out in the cold.” A couple years later I jumped on GWAR
tour with
Disarray, and I can affirm, we slept out in the cold a few nights.
Dave-O is dedicated, and serious about playing. External “real
life” jobs and
families are not an issue. Dave-O will relocate, he is ready to travel, has
a
passport, a kick ass Ludwig kit with cases (see photo on front page), and is
looking
for a dedicated full time working band. Throughout the 1990’s Dave-O played
with
Social Hemorrhage (two years), Piranha (seven years), Plaster Frown (seven years),
and joined Disarray in 1997. He left in 2003 after a mutual break up. Currently
Dave-O
keeps in practice jamming with friends, and is looking to lend his talent to
you.
His style includes a cross between groove metal and grind core, but can attune
to any
style. Influences include Sepultura, Clutch, and Soilent Green and has opened
for GWAR,
Biohazard, Clutch, Crow Bar, Skin Lab, and many more. To contact Dave Peridore
